To be a BlackBlade is to care about being the best at everything you do in game and out. It is about forming friendships with your team and learning to trust and support them with whatever they need. The goal is to do what others say is impossible, and to work hard and long to accomplish anything you set your mind to. We are about accomplishments, family, friendship and hard work. Our membership is comprised of players from all countries, ages, and origins who all have there own unique ideas and experiences. We are very relaxed and not easily offended. We play at mostly early (but usually all) times.

We are always recruiting talented players and interesting gamers with similar goals and a positive outlook for our family to help us cut a path to victory.

History:

The BlackBlades were founded in January of 2005, just after the release of world of warcraft. We were a world PvP guild with no greater delight then harassing the alliance and causing general chaos in the enemy city's. After the release of the Honor System and world PvP disappearing the guild split into PvE WoW and PvP Guild wars.

Our guilds were both very successful with much of the old content in Wow being quickly torn through and with creating a solid team to compete in the world tournament for guild wars. After winning the 12 man world tournament for guild wars week after week, the developers at ArenaNet asked us to step down and let someone else have a shot at glory so we migrated back over to World of Warcraft just in time for the release of Burning Crusades.

We were one of the first guilds on the server to get into Kharazhan and kill Attunemen, but at this time one of our close friends had to quit the game due to illness and the BlackBlades split off into other games, guilds, and real life endeavors. After joining with BPOTC we cleared SSC, Gruul, TK, Magtheirdon, and ZA but always wanted to get back together with our friends.

With the release of WOTLK and some of our friends going off to afghanistan we decided to rejoin the BlackBlades and start serious raid content at off peak times. We started raiding again 3/22/09 and cleared Naxx, OS, VOA all in the first week. Our guild continued to grow and we pushed through Ulduar hard modes as a strict 10's guild pushing our way up to rank 3 on the server by the start of 3.2. By the time 3.3 was released we were ready to expand into serious 25 man raiding, merged a few dying guilds into ours and started clearing ICC. We cleared 11/12 Hard modes in ICC and cleared RS the week it was released. With cataclysm's raid changes bringing more focused raiding we should have even more success, and we look forward to having you there.
